Operation cyclosecta
The good, the meh, and the exciting!
I finally did it. I separated the Pinguicula cyclosecta triplets.
Pinguicula cyclosecta before the surgery.
Pinguicula cyclosecta out of the pot.
Pinguicula cyclosecta. Shallowest of root systems.
Pinguicula cyclosecta after the surgery.
Pinguicula cyclosecta. Surgery fallout.
I underestimated the very tough connection between the rosettes. One rosette didn’t quite make it but that’s just a small setback. All three plants should recover. The fallout, and the exciting part is that the disintegrating rosette resulted in about a dozen leaves that are now in their little ovens for propagation.

P.S.: I saved the moss.
Update: The disintegrated rosette croaked. XD
Wow! Impressive! You also helped birth some babies. Looks tricky. I hope there was someone there to mop your brow. XD
Congrats on the successful surgery and the kids, Doc!
